Revelation in the Bible – Is It Past, Present, or Future Tense?

Revelation, the final book of the Christian Bible, is one of the most mysterious books within the text. Some scholars have poured over its pages to try to determine it’s hidden meanings. But is the Book of Revelation written for the past, the present, or the future?

When reading Revelation, it can become clear that there are historical references, current instructions (for the time in which it was written), as well as future prophecy. So in short, it is all 3! But it is very important to realize that it isn’t “only” one of those three.

Examples of Future Passages:

Some bible scholars or theologians have made the mistake in the past to only force one view on the text. It is clear that this book is not only intended for the past. After all, it says:

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. (Chapter 21, verse 1)
Since Earth (and the heavens) have long since been around since this text was originally written, it is safe to assume that this has not yet happened. Therefore, it is clear that this is referring to a future event. To try and argue otherwise is merely grasping at straws.

Examples of Historic Passages:

This book also contains historical passages. For example, the text also says this:

She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. 3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. 4 His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven… (Chapter 12, verses 2-5)
This is generally believed to be referring to Israel and its 12 tribes. The “third of stars of heaven,” is referring to Satan when he was cast out of heaven, and he took 1/3 of the angels with him. So it is clear that the text does contain some historical references.

Examples of Present Passages:

Finally, we see this book also contains some passages which are obviously meant to be taken literally at the precise time in which they were written. For example, In the 2-3rd chapter, we see Jesus Christ giving instructions (and rebukes) to the major churches that were around at that time.

So given the above evidence, the only logical conclusion is to realize the truth: The Book of Revelation was written for the past, the present, and the future.

Father’s Day Gifts – Present a Unique Gift to Your Dad on This Father’s Day

A father has a very unique place in our lives. Their love for us is unconditional. We cannot measure their devotion and hard work, which they do to give us a comfortable life. We are so busy in our lives and have very little time for our fathers. Father’s Day is a great opportunity to wish your father and express your love for him. A simple gift can say it all. He will be very happy to get this gift and will remember it for the rest of his life. When we talk about Father’s Day gifts, a number of options are available. However, it is important to keep his personality in mind. Here we are discussing some Father’s Day gifts suggestions, which will help you to choose an appropriate gift.

Every man has different preferences, so think about the likes of your father before buying a gift for him. If he is one of those, who love their vehicle, you can buy new tire rims for his car. Yes, it’s a unique gift but he will be delighted to get them. If he loves to eat, you can fill a basket with his favorite eatables and this will make him really happy. If he is a fashion person, you can buy designer sunglasses for him. He will look younger and smart and this will boost his spirit.

Other Father’s Day gifts include tickets of his favorite game, if he is a sports person. Buy tickets for his favorite game and go to see the match with him. He will be happy to see the match and your company will enhance his happiness many folds. Moreover, you can buy other sports accessories for him, like his favorite team’s jersey or a golf kit. If he loves to walk, a pair of walking shoe will be a practical present for your father.

If you cannot decide between many things, go for gadgets. Men are interested in gadgets more than anything else. You can buy a cell phone for him. If he loves music you can present a music playing device. Father’s Day gifts can also include coins and stamps if he loves to collects these things. However, be careful and present that piece which is not in his collections. You can go for customized gifts as well, like customizing a coffee cup with his photograph is a good idea.

Father’s Day gifts are nothing but just the reflection of your love for your dad, so price does not matter. If you can afford buy a costly one but if you cannot afford an expansive gift, do not bother and go with your budget. Just try to think unique, ideas will jump automatically. You can buy an economical yet different gift for your dad. Just think about his personality and go for shopping. You can check online stores as well, as they offer many things in low price. Remember, a small gift can bring a big smile on the face of your father, which is simply priceless.

There Ain’t No Gift Like the Present!

When it comes to birthday presents, what’s the best gift you can buy someone? Is it a £1,000,000 Bugatti Veyron? A £580,000 golf course, perhaps? In this day and age, we often get trapped in a web of spending more than we can afford and sometimes forget the importance of that simple four-letter word called ‘time’. We’re a bit prone to running around like blue arsed flies, which is why, from time to time, we forget peoples’ birthdays.

Sure, you could treat a tipple lover to a gift box of wine or whisky, accompanied by a silk rose, and they’d be uber chuffed. Or indulge the footie fan in your life with, (well obviously!) football gifts like Leeds football books – if they’re a supporter, that is – football jigsaws, football gift experiences, and so on. If your pal likes Rihanna or your Dad’s a huge Simon & Garfunkel fan, you’d probably plump for music gifts like CDs, or if you’re feeling especially generous, perhaps concert tickets.

Imagine if there was a bank which put £86,400 into your account each morning. What would you do? Well durrh, draw out every penny, of course! In actual fact, everyone has such a bank, and that bank is filled with… TIME. Nothing more, nothing less.

Every morning, your bank credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night, its writes off what you’ve failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries no balance, allows no overdraft, and each day, it opens a new account for you. Each night, it burns the remains of the day and if you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours. There’s no drawing against the ‘tomorrow’. You have to live in the present on today’s deposits.

Normally when you ask someone what kind of gift they want, they’ll suggest a luxury item, gadget or, in some cases, cash. But perhaps the biggest gift you can give someone is that limited asset that everyone has in their lifetime – or rather, their ‘bank’ – called TIME.

Nowadays, time is a rarity. This is funny considering we only have a certain amount of it in our lives. Once we ‘spend’ time, we can’t get it back. Time is the world’s most priceless resource for any single person.

For instance, when someone answers your phone call, they’re giving you their time to hear you. When someone invites you to a dinner party, it means he or she is making way for you and putting other arrangements on the backburner. In essence, if someone chooses to give you their time, that person’s giving you a small part of their life in this world. Does that sound like a reasonable statement to make? If that hasn’t convinced you, perhaps this will. Here are a few things to mull over…

To realise the value of one year, ask a student who failed their degree. To realise the value of one month, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. To realise the value of one week, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper. To realise the value of one day, ask a terminally ill patient. To realise the value of one hour, ask the bride and groom who are about to be married. To realise the value of one minute, ask the person who missed the train. To realise the value of one second, ask the person who avoided a car accident. To realise the value of one millisecond, ask the person who won the London marathon.

Surely this has swayed you a bit? Of course, you can give them bonuses too like cognac gifts, wine gifts, cut crystal champagne flutes, or chocolate truffles, but give someone the gift of time, and you’ll make their day. Treasure every moment you have, and treasure it more because you share it with them.

Sod the socks, toiletry sets and perfume. Whether it’s Grandma’s 80th or your best friend’s birthday, for god’s sake, take Gran out for a cuppa, meet your mate for lunch or go on a pampering day together! It’s the old saw… the more time you give, the more comes back to you. What goes around comes around.

Remember: time waits for no one. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

Using Sophisticated AE Templates for Presentations

After Effects and other post-production sequences can have a really strong impact from within a visual project. Engaging visual presentations can lose their immersion as soon as an unrealistic sequence or poorly designed graphic is used. This can be a struggle for directors and project teams who don’t have anybody adept at motion graphic design involved. Resorting to alternatives or poor designs doesn’t have to be an option.

Online AE template distributors have a wealth of work for buyers to license and use for their projects. Websites that connect people with different skill sets allow projects to come together. The AE templates are high quality, completely customisable, easy to alter to work with any presentation and professional looking. Once you have paid the initial cost of the design there are no extra royalties that keep you paying for longer than you should have to. Standard pricing is usually set in place depending on the length of the work you are purchasing. If you are only using a fifteen second sequence, you shouldn’t have to pay the price of a full package.

Templates are not usually limited to a one time use. If you make a purchase the template will still be available for somebody to license for their own project. Sellers will sometimes make the option available to buy the exclusive use of content for a higher price, taking it off the market and granting you ownership of the design. Depending on the type of presentation you are working on, where it is going to be broadcast and the funding you have, buying the exclusive rights to a graphic design can add a unique visual element to your work.

It is crucial to read through and learn the copyright details associated with licensed work purchased through template distribution sites. Distributors will frequently offer resources on the specific details of the copyright laws that relate to your license and purchasing. Depending on the kind of project you are undertaking – whether it is commercial, film or broadcast – prices will vary to better suit your range.

Avoid compromising your project with sub par motion graphic designs. Sophisticated After Effects templates allow anybody to maintain a professional look in their video production. You don’t need to spend the money and time contracting a designer to create one specific title sequence for your project; finding it through a template distributor can save you time and keep your project within budget. Maintain that professional look in your video design and create a better product using AE templates.
